An experimental photo from toying with over exposures.

The light post shown here was giving off a very eerie glow that I just decided to capture and share.

This photo was the result of some experimentation with lighting and exposure. There was no photoshop involved. I took the shot, exported a jpeg on my computer and uploaded it. I had a lot of fun creating this and I think I’m going to start working on more stuff like it.

I shot this photo the other day as a storm was rolling in. The black birds couldn’t get situated as usual and kept flying on and off of this one set of power lines.

This photo was taken just after sunset so you can see the last glimmer of orange sunlight disappearing over the horizon. I didn’t alter the color of the leaf, the blue just came from the way the remaining light was catching its edges in the darkness.

For this project, I was hired to photograph the landscape of a beautiful farm in Kentucky and design a hard-bound book showcasing the results.

This photo came from a series I did called abstract lights where I was experimenting and learning a great deal with exposure and focus in conjunction with colored lights.

This is a landscape photo taken early in the morning of a tree overhanging the lake at my parent’s house in Bardstown, KY.
