This logo was the result of a redesign for Skyline Contracting. I chose to go with a redesign of the original logo instead of starting fresh because even though it was lacking in design refinement, the original did posses a fundamentally memorable mark and had already built up some recognition. I ended up sticking with the same typography because it was a large part of the logo that people already had some associations with. My main contribution to the design was an alteration and refinement of rooftop marks creating a less jumbled, more powerful image. I also changed the color from a lime green to the current blue, which gives a feeling of stability and trust and reinforces the company name.
